The paintings of Washington and Sperryville have been reproduced as prints in various sizes, note cards and even T-shirts. There are several versions of the Washington scene, varying with the seasons. She said that the printing process altered .the colors and suggested this change to her.
She also has even more whimsical images reproduced on T-shirts such as Rappahannock Fish and “Animals May Love You, But They Won’t Pick You Up at the Airport.”
Under commission she has done a large painting for the Airlie Conference Center, and just before Christmas she finished one for a private client in Alexandria. She said she did more research for this painting than any other she had done. The client wanted a painting of the Alexandria waterfront as it would have appeared about 1800.
She sought out old books and etchings of the city at the time, studying buildings still standing and finding out how they appeared at that time and finding out about buildings and ships long gone from the Alexandria waterfront. The center of the painting shows a barge with George Washington being ferried across the Potomac River to the site of the new capital.
