“It wasn’t as clean of a game as I would have liked” explained Coach Donn Hackney. “If we can just eliminate errors we can be as competitive as any team in our league. I think our mistakes are a result of a break down in concentration. We have to stay focussed on every pitch for seven innings,” he added.
Beating Brentsville for the second time this session shot their chances for the play-offs. More importantly for the Panthers coaches Hackney and Settle, winning the last few games gives the team confidence in themselves and respect from their opponents.
