A Stuck Snake
Interspersed with such somber warnings, Mr. Clark told hilarious stories, like this one: It seems that a black snake had been hanging around a farming woman’s hen house for years, partaking of one or two eggs at a time and keeping the coop clear of mice in return.
One day the farm woman tried to stimulate one of her hens to do a better job of nesting by putting a couple of golf balls in her nest. Later that day, 'the woman found the black snake stuck half-way through the hole it used to enter and exit.
It was caught by a big bulge in its middle. The woman was upset. She had gotten attached to her black snake and she couldn’t understand what was causing the bulge. The snake should have crushed its egg meal inside its body, as usual, and slid out sleekly- lyWorried,
the woman tugged on the snake, withdrawing it from its hole, packed it up and headed to the Wildlife Center,
