Mr. and Mrs. Shelvy Frazier and Mr. Owen Cubbage of Castleton attended the 50th. wedding anniversary party for Mr. and Mrs. Harold Buraker held at Country Cookin in Culpeper on Saturday afternoon.
They were joined there by Mrs. Buraker’s sister, Cenie and her husband from Delaware, her brother, Billy Burke and daughter, Cenie Faye of Culpeper, Mr. Buraker’s sister Iva Dene and husband of Brightwood, also their cousin, Otis Lee Burke and the Buraker’s sons, Kenneth and Larry and families, all of Culpeper. - Others joining them were Mr. and Mrs. Grat Buraker and daughter, Linda and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Tharp, and Mr. and Mrs. Tony Tharp and Bethany, all of Culpeper, Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville, Mrs. Lottie Woodward and son, Franklin of Remington, as well as other friends.
Mrs. Grat Buraker hosted the - party and Mrs. Barbara Tharp baked and cut the cake. The couple received many nice presents. - - Joseph Peregory was on a boy scout camping trip over the weekend.
