To the Editor:
The Rappahannock County Education Association would like to thank all of the students, parents, and community members who came out to support the proposed school budget at the recent public hearing. It was so gratifying to see our partners in education stand up for our students and teachers. We are proud to work in a community with such concerned citizens.
We would also like to express our appreciation to Dr. Gangel and the School Board for supporting an increase in teachers’ salaries throughout the budget process. We realize how difficult it Was to include such an increase under our current fiscal constraints, and we thank you for all of your efforts
