For the foreseeable future the Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission have rejected the idea of a Sperryville bypass. The Town of Middleburg also rejected a bypass as a solution to that town’s traffic problems. U.S. 50 is a heavily used commuter route that passes through the center of Middleburg.
