Each physics student will compete with a team at the amusement park. Competition includes dropping an egg from a certain altitude into the group’s handmade egg catchers seeing how much weight you can support using a given number of index cards, and also flying paper airplanes.
The day is perfect for showing students eveiyday applications of seemingly purposeless material learned in more advanced math and science classes.
The month will come to a close with the annual school play. Once again directed by Cynthia Cumins, “Twelve Angry Jurors” demonstrates each student’s newly acquired talents. The play will be held May 31 and June 1st.
