On Saturday, Patty McGothlin of Route 645 in Amissville reported that a generator was stolen from her driveway.
A large amount of trash was found dumped outside the dumpsters at the Scrabble dumpster site on May 7. Sheriff Settle said that several names were obtained from papers in the trash and the matter is under investigation.
J.T. Taylor of Route 618 in Castleton reported on May 6 that some items were stolen from his house. Sheriff Settle said that a suspect has admitted to the theft and had pawned the items in Culpeper. Charges are pending.
Jean Ellsworth of Poe’s Road in flint Hill reported last Wednesday that someone had slashed two tires on her vehicle which was parked at another residence in Flint Hill.
