Thomas Enoch and Margaret Eleanor West Harty. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of the VFW Post #2524 and the American Legion Post #330.
Mr. Harty is survived by his wife qf 47 years, Dorothy Wood Harty; one daughter, Jo Ann B. Mead of Gainesville and three sons, David Michael Harty of Atlanta, Ga., Richard Allen Harty of Charlottesville and Joseph Alfred Harty Jr. of Relay, Md.
He is also survived by three grandchildren and one sister, Georgia E. Wendel of Arlington.
He was preceded in death by one son, James Lewis Harty and one brother, Thomas Fulton Harty.
Graveside service were held Tuesday at Culpeper National Cemetery with the Rev. Alan B. Hooker officiating.
Found and Sons Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.

Anna Marie Johnson, 85, a homemaker and wife of the late Alton P. Johnson, Sr., died November 24, 1995 in Phoenix, Arizona.
She was born July 1, 1910, in Philadelphia, Pa. to the late William I and Margaret Stroup Streater.
