As autumn approaches, our attention may turn to that last minute paint job before cold weather ensues. “The paint on that window is chipping away. It sure could use a fresh coat to protect it from the winter storms. I had better do it now while .it’s on my mind.”
We all need protection...a shield from the storms of life, before they can,chip away at our spirit and erode our soul. Proverbs 30:5 assures us of God’s protection...“He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him.”
If you already have a chosen house of worship, continue to worship regularly, as we need constant protection and reassurance. If you do not, make plans to begin now...while it’s on your mind. Winter is closer than you think.
