Hospice of the Rapidan needs donations of used clothing, housewares, furniture, exercise equipment, small appliances, books, etc., for an upcoming fund raiser. A collection drive will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, on Saturday, Sept. 28, in the parking lot at Mulberry Commons, 1200 Sunset Lane in Culpeper.
"We can use almost anything in good condition, except mattresses, food, fur, and large appliance?," says Page Smith, director of community outreach.
The merchandise will be sold from October through December at the White Elephant Consignment Store in Warrenton. Hospice of the Rapidan's share of the money will provide medical care, social services and volunteer support to terminally ill patients and
