Rappahannock boys finished second to Central in a six way cross country meet at Central last Wednesday while the girls finished third in fourway competition.
Chris Sause was fifth overall and first for the Panther squad with a time of 18:04. Caleb Proper was the eighth overall and the second Rappahannock runner with a time of 18:31, while Matt Wolfe finished 10th overall and third for Rappahannock with a time of 18:35.
Rounding out the field for the Panthers were Chad Heddlesdon, 15 th overall, and Tommmy Baldwin, 20th. Jeff Atkins was 22nd and Chris Dennis was 23rd. < Central finished with a score of 32 to Rappahannock's 58, 116 for Manassas Park, 118 for Stonewall Jackson, 163 for Page County and 164 for Luray.
On the girls side Meghan Fairbrother was first overall as well as first for Rappahannock with a time of 21:05. Jessica Gheen was seventh overall and second for Rappahannock with a time of 22:41, and Emily Sims was third for Rappahannock and 14th overall with a time of 23:23.
