"I think people feel if they don't work out five days a week, they're not getting anything out of it," Mrs. Forsten says. "That's just not the case. We want to show them that working out does not have to be so time-consuming."

The biggest added feature that could set this club apart from the rest is the gym. With two full-sized courts, both volleyball and basketball figure prominently into drawing more members.

"When we did our research, the community seemed hungry for some other sports at * their club," Mrs. Forsten said.

The club plans to offer clinics and tournaments in both sports. A co-ed volleyball league will begin at the end of September, and a three-on-three basketball league is set to begin in October.

The floor again is a unique surface. Called Mate flex, the rubber floor has shock absorbers underneath the surface.

"[The gym] is just another way of getting everyone involved in fitness without breaking their pockets," Mrs. Forsten says.

Cost for the club ranges from $40 to $50 per month for individuals. There are also reduced rates available for families and various companies. Also receiving a reduction in rates are employees of county government agencies, police, fire and rescue companies and employees of county public schools, the Fauquier Hospital, and the Town of Warrenton.
