Working side-by-side with McMahoh is Latin teacher Dr. George Snider. A native -of Boston, Mass., Snider received his Ph.D. from Harvard University. For nearly 30 years, he and his wife lived in Montreal, Canada, where he was associate professor of Classics at prestigious McGill University.
When his wife was offered a job in Virginia, Snider took early retirement and transferred his teaching skills to the Potomac School in McLean. This was his first experience working with high school students.
