All 20 paintings in the show are labeled, “Untitled.” The largest painting is about 24 by 30 inches and is of his Rappahannock neighbor, Mary O’Meara, holding a “metamorphosis machine.” She is pulling caterpillars off an ornate wrought iron fence covered with morning glories and placing them into the machine where they come out of the other end as butterflies and moths.
Kenny said he has been trying to increase the size of his paintings which average about 12 by 18 inches so that he can begin doing private commissions.
The last painting completed for the show is of a handsome and athletic man walking out of a tropical ocean onto golden sand. He is dressed in mussel shells, horseshoe crabs, a snail shell, seaweed, lobster tails and a lobster claw glove and helmet shell. The cobalt, ultramarine and cerulean
