The Rappahannock Jaycees announce plans for the annual Beauty Pageant which will be held again this year in April. Jim Willis, who has been appointed chairman of the event, says details of the pageant will be released soon. Young ladies from the ages of 4 to 19 should be keeping this in mind. A school scholarship is awarded as grand prize in the teen group. The stamp campaign sponsored by the SCA of the Rappahannock County High School ends Jan. 26. Anyone having stamps to contribute please contact a student immediately. Mrs. Ida Thrump will be hostess to the Flint Hill Methodist Missionary Society on Thursday night and Mrs. Mary Cleverly will be guest speaker. She will present an illustrated slide lecture on housing for the elderly.
