Tax season is right around the comer and there is free tax assistance on the way for Rappahannock County residents.
. Low income families and [individuals and those 60 and -over can take advantage of the free income tax assistance sites opening in February. Last tax season and this year as well the Rappahannock Library is the place where people could get their tax returns reviewed and completed by trained volunteers.
The program is sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service, American Association of Retired Persons and Virginia Cooperative Extension. Volunteers attend .a four day training and must
