j Reports to the Dean of Instruction and Student Services at Fauquier Campus of Lord Fairfax Community College (Position ! #00043) in Warrenton, Virginia. This is a full-time permanent position with state benefits. Duties to include: managing the Dean's calendar: monitoring department budgets: maintaining files and preparing correspondence; supporting of all aspects of the campus operation to include production of class schedule: faculty assistance; enrollment services, including all processes for initial student enrollment, registration of students, receipt and deposit of monevs and computer data entry. Skills required: knowledge of filing procedures: office organization and management; composition of letters and memorandums; telephone etiquette; basic math skills: Working knowledge of word processing: spreadsheet software; ability to use calculator. PCs. copying and fax machine: abilitv to follow oral and written directions and to perform routine activities with minimal supervision. Experience/Educational • requirements: ; Previous secretarial or office services experience involving the performance of a variety of clerical and administrative duties required. Two years of specialized training in office management, office technology. or secretarial procedures preferred. Minimum starting salary $18,628.
