The school is now testing and reviewing admissions for the incoming class. Toth says they are already behind schedule but are afraid to press forward because of the funding question. The next step is to talk to each county’s board of supervisors and send letters to the county administrators asking for their support. Students will probably also have to pay a portion of the $4,500 tuition.
“We are going to the supervisors to plead our case,” said Toth. “There are a lot of things we don’t have control over, but we are going to do what we can to help these kids.”
