The question, “Primary reason for visiting Sperryville,” was changed to “Reasons for visiting Sperryville,” and added to the list of reasons for visiting was “post office.”
“How often do you visit Sperryville?” Was changed to “How often do you visit the Sperryville area?” Added to the list of suggested improvements for the area was, “create tourist/visitor center.” Space permitting, Payne agreed to define the Sperryville area.
For a few heated minutes, discussion of the survey was sidetracked to the issue of traffic in Sperryville. Bob Williams brought up the point as to whether the survey should include traffic issues that the committee had already agreed to address. The poor condition of Main Street is an extremely important issue for people who live there and seeing items relating to that on the < [uestionnaire gave rise to further discussion.
Committe chair Tom Junk said they needed to include these items on the questionnaire into order to assess countywide concern.
