Bob Roadcap remembers what it was like when Virginia Lottery tickets went on sale ten years ago. “1 started this business 36 years ago,” says Mr. Roadcap. He’s talking about the Handy Dandy Market he owns in Woodbridge. “The lottery was big when it came along. Those tickets were popular.”

Mr. Roadcap is one of the top retailers for the lottery’s Fairfax region. His store is on a comer of Occoquan Road in Woodbridge. He attributes much of his success - in sales of lottery tickets as well as other store products - to service.

“We have a good relationship with our customers,” he ' says. “We work hard for our lottery players, offering them things we know they want, like winning numbers right after the drawings.”
