Last Tuesday evening the Lady Panthers took on Stonewall Jackson at home. Despite valiant efforts by both varsity and junior varsity teams the Generals went home with two victories.
The JV game began with several beautiful plays both on offense and defense. By half time however, the score Was 1231 Stonewall. Rapp made an additional 13 points to end the game 25-40.
The evenings top JV scorer was Amanda Weakley who made nine of the team’s points. Close behind her was Amy Clinedinst with eight points.
The varsity game began with a very close score, ending the first quarter behind Stonewall 7-8. By half time it had increased to 14-37. The game quickly ended 26-58 in Stonewall’s favor. ,
