Inspite of all these obstacles, 21 of the faithful made the jaunt up the one mile to spend time cleaning the cemetery, reminiscing and sharing pictures and stories of our departed loved ones, and then sharing a picnic meal under the trees.

Some of the stoutest decided to go to the site of the old Flat House, the old home were Robert and Delphia Bolen Pullen reared their 11 children. Although we found the road and made an attempt the undergrowth hindered our finding it. Another trip is scheduled for latter in the year.
