lower festival field, everyone will continue to march around the lower field and form a semicircle (except for the antique cars). The antique cars will depart the parade formation as they enter the field and slowly move up the lane toward the festival entrance, but will not enter at this time.
With the parade standing in formation in a semi-circle and the antique cars lined up the hill, there will be several pictures taken for the history books. Everyone is invited to join the formation for the picture and should remain in place until given direction by the Parade Marshall, Mr. Henry B. Wood of Woodville. After the pictures, the marshall will direct the antique cars to enter the main festival area to park for the car show.
Each person is asked to sign a guest book as they enter (for the historical record) and will be given a name tag to indicate who they are and which community they are from (there will be many books available so as not to impede the flow of the crowd).
The festival will feature a wide variety of vendors, exhibitors, and information booths in addition to bandstand stage activities, Confederate and Union Army camps and skirmishes, Antique Car Show, temporary postal station for purchase of the special cancellation postmark in recognition of Woodville’s celebration, VIPs, hay rides, and live music.
