Also surviving are two sisters Mavis March of Bel Air, Md. and Peggy Motley of Boston Lincolnshire, England and a host of friends.
She was predeceased by her husbands James Lester Burke and Eugene Curtis.
She was a resident of the town of Washington for 26 years.
A celebration of her life was held at F.T. Valley Baptist Church in Slate Mills, of which she was a member on Wednesday, Sept. 23 with the Rev. Douglas Farmer and the Rev. Merlin Shorb officiating. Burial followed at Willis Chapel United Methodist Church in Huntly.
