The Constitution of Virginia requires that you be registered in the precinct in which you live in order to be qualified to vote.

In order to be eligible to vote in the General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 3,1998, you must register no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 1998.

For the convenience of eligible citizens, the Voter Registration Office of Rappahannock County located at the address shown below will be open for registration on the preceding Saturday, October 3, 1998 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The office at 262A Gay Street also will be open on Saturday, October 24,1998 and on Saturday, October 31,1998 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the convenience of registered voters who need to vote by absentee ballot for this election date.

Saturday, October 31, 1998 is the last day for this election on which absentee ballots may be voted in person by qualified applicants.

All requests for reasonable accommodations due to a disability should be made to the registrar with at least 48 hour notice.
