NOTICE OF PROPOSED ABANDONMENT OF ROAD At its public meeting to be held at 7 p.m. on October 5,1998, in the Rappahannock County Courthouse, Washington, Virginia, the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County, Virginia, shall consider for abandonment an unused portion of the old Rock Mills Road which has been replaced by new construction on State Route 622. The portion of the old road proposed for abandonment extends 1,394.74 feet northwest from State Route 622, and is shown on plat of survey by John Baumgardner, PC., dated 26 November 1996, as being between points "BB” and "EE.' A copy of said plat may be seen at the Office of the County Administrator, Gay Street, Washington, Virginia. At the conclusion of the hearing on 5 October 1998, the hearing shall be recessed to be reconvened on 2 November 1998 at 7:00 p.m. at the same location, at which time the public hearing shall be completed. Persons may appear and comment at either or both times. The Board of Supervisors shall not act until after the conclusion of the 2 November 1998 hearing. This is done pursuant to §33.1-158 of the Code of Virginia.
