The Rappahannock Hunt

The parade will be staged along the- northern end of Main Street (U.S. 522) starting at the town limits and stretching back to Route 621 west. The south bound lane of U.S. 522 will be used for the parade, with the north bound lane controlled by a pilot vehicle. Beginning at 11 a.m., the south bound lane of U.S. 522 will be closed just beyond Route 621 west and Route 621 east (Rudasill Mill Road).

At 11:55 a.m., the closure of the parade lane of U.S. 522 will be extended all the way to the festival site (the pilot vehicle will continue to control the traffic in the other lane, so be aware of moving traffic). The intersection of Route 618 west and U.S. 522 will also be closed at this time.

At noon, the parade will begin marching. It will head south, through the downtown area, entering the lower festival field on the right just beyond Burke’s Store. The main review area will be at the intersection of Route 618 west and U.S. 522.
