Recently, Joann performed demonstrations at the Rappahannock Elementary School, where she put a doll together from scratch, to the delight and amazement of kindergarten students. The doll is then given to students as a class “mascot.”
Joann and Frank did not start numbering and signing the dolls until last July. They did not realize the impact they would make. There are now over 1600 numbered and signed Berta Babies.
