Getting our body ready means staying physically active all winter. Gardening is great exercise for about eight months of the year. It is those four months of down time that prove so painful as we try to get started in the spring.
So make a winter plan of exercise and keep moving. I have started scuba lessons and moved my treadmill to the sun room for better views to accompany my walks. If you have health problems talk to your doctor to develop a plan that will meet your needs.
