Reisler’s latest work, Birth of a River, is a new instrumental duo album with Bobby Read, a former Trapezoid member, now with Bruce Hornsby Band.
Reisler is joined by Cecil Hooker on violin and vocals, vocalist Leslie Ritter and multi-instrumentalist, Scott Petito. Petito, the band’s catch-all with his bass, piano, keyboard and guitar skills, is also a multi-talented arranger, engineer, producer, and songwriter/singer who has recorded with The Band, James and Livingston Taylor, The Fugs, and many more.
Keeping busy seems to be the mantra for the group. After having toured throughout North America and Asia, Reisler and Trapezoid have performed in more than 3,000 concerts.
