• Ben Rupchis, fifth grade, was the winner of the WVPTTV Young Environmentalist award. His science class was taped on site at RCES by WVPT.
• Magazine campaign kickoff for grades four through seven was held Feb. 18.
• March 1-12 Kenny Marotta will be the artist in residence for grades five through seven.
• World of Music will be presented at 7 p.m. at RCES gym on March 4.
• Fifth grade SOL writing test will be held March 8-10.
• Lions Club Vision and Hearing Screening will be at the schools March 10-12.
• Spring pictures will be taken at the schools on March 17.
