Funeral services were held Feb. 24 at Moser Funeral Home Chapel in Warrenton by the Rev. Vernon DeLong. Interment was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Jefferson ton.

Ashby Jenkins

Rev. Ashby Marvin Jenkins, 81, of Front Royal died Monday, Feb. 22 at his home.
Rev. Jenkins was bom Jan. 7, 1918 in Rappahannock County, the son of the late Payton and Laura Dodson Jenkins.
Rev. Jenkins was a minister of the Pentecostal Church and a member of the Flint Hill Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Margaret Virginia Jenkins of Front Royal.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Junior M. Jenkins of Elkton and Bobby W. Jenkins of Browntown and seven daughters, Dorothy Settle of Manassas, Alice Jenkins, Marie Kling, both of Luray, Shirley Kenny of Richmond, Betty Herring of Elkton, Brenda Dovel of Standardsville and Connie Bly of Stephenson.
