The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, NSDAR, met for a luncheon meeting at the Holiday Inn in Culpeper on Tuesday, Feb. 9 with the Regent, Mrs. George W. Bryson presiding. Visitors were welcomed and the coordinator for the meting, Mrs. Dan Shackelford was thanked.
The speaker for the morning, Mrs. Edgar F. Puryear Jr., State Chairman of National Committee DAR School, was introduced by Mrs. Shackelford. Mrs. Puryear spoke on the DAR schools which are largely in the Appalachian mountain areas.
