George Washington in December and that the DAR museum has opened a new exhibit “Pleasing Things Made in Her Honor: The Colonial Revival and Martha Washington.”

In the National Defense report, read by Mrs. Edward I. Barton, the Pentagon is pushing for a generous pay raise for America’s 1.4 million service men and women to help close the gap between military and civilian pay in order to help keep highly trained and experienced personnel in the services.

The next meeting will be the annual Awards Tea to be held at the Culpeper Baptist Church on Sunday, March 7 at 1:30 p.m. at which all were urged to attend.
