Virginia’s child passenger law requires that all children under the age of 16 be restrained at all times riding in a vehicle, and that children under the age of four must be restrained in a child safety seat.
Officers will also be stepping up enforcement of adult seat belt laws, because it’s a proven fact that most adults who don’t buckle up themselves don’t buckle up kids.
