Donn Hackney
Home: Washington Occupation: Health/P.E. Teacher and Varsity Baseball Coach, Rappahannock High School Accomplishments: In addition to teaching and coaching, Mr. Hackney serves on the Eighth Grade Transition Team, Which helps eighth graders adjust to high school life. Outside of the school, Mr. , Hackney is an active member of Washington Baptist Church. His activities there include being a member of the Men’s Brotherhood, and taping church services to send to individuals who are physically unable to attend church. He also coaches baseball for the Rappahannock Athletic Association. Prior to teaching, Mr. Hackney worked as Director of Fairfax House, a group home for troubled teens. A husband and father of two, he says that he likes working with teens.
