Government (CLG) program, it seeks to establish partnerships between local governments and the Department to enable the local governments to participate more formally in national preservation programs. CLGs are eligible to apply for federal matching grants from Virginia’s CLG fund (fund totals between $60,000 and $65,000 annually)—eligible grant projects include a variety of survey, preservation planning and public education activities.
