Virginia Cooperative Extension and the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank would like to thank anyone who participated in the Blue Ridge Area Food Drive last weekend Thanks to your generosity, 23 Rappahannock County seniors and volunteers received 35 pounds of assorted canned and dry goods at the Super Pantry Program on Wednesday May 12. The super pantry program is sponsored through a partnership between Rappahannock Cooperative Extension and Blue Ridge 1 ood Bank and is being conducted at the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Service Board Seniors Nutrition Site in Washington by Judy Stevens, our area Extension Smart Choices Nutrition Education Program Technician.
