nator for the first Rappahannock Relay-for-Life held in the county. The event was held on Friday and Saturday at the Rappahannock Elementary School. Once during the evening someone made a comment that no one could say “no” to Mrs. Ester and how true that comment was and ever so apparent the entire evening.
She deserves much praise for her hard working efforts for this cause. We are confident that she worked behind the scenes for many hours that no one will ever know about. She is truly dedicated to the cause. Should you see her aropnd the community, say thank-you to her for such a great job.
The Brady Bunch ‘99 group from here in the Flint Hill community raised the most money for a team which totalled $4,615. And, our own Ellen Joback was the top fundraiser. Flint Hill has much to be proud about. Congratulations to all who worked so hard to support this endeavor.
