Condolences are extended to the family of Keith Brown

Condolences are extended to the family of Keith Brown who passed away on Friday at University of Virginia Hospital and to the family of Ms. Nancy Asbee, who passed away at her residence on Friday. Both were Reva residents.

Sympathy is extended to the family and friends, in/our area, of Mr. Ray Nicholson who passed away Thursday at Mont Vue Nursing Home in Luray at the age of 81. He was the son of the late Felton and Claude Fincham Nicholson, former natives of Nethers Mill.

Belated wishes go out to my great nephew and niece, Jeremiah and Jessica Frazier who recently celebrated birthdays.

We salute Jon Inskeep who was selected for the “Academic Spotlight” receiptent last week.

Quite a number of folk from our community attended the “Singing and Pickin” party at the Salem Fire Hall Friday evening.

The Reva Volunteer Fire and Rescue has recently received a gracious donation of $2,000 from Williams Gas Pipelines, and at this time kicks off their new ambulance fund drive, in which they are in great need of to replace their old 1980 ambulance. Castleton way residents Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Dellinger and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Dellinger are continuing the joy for the arrival of little Kimberly Diane Dellinger who was a month old Sunday.

Many of our area residents are on the sick list and our prayers go out to each one for a speedy recovery, remember our Lord is the Great Physician.

Mrs. Patti Waddel of Route 707, biology teacher at Rappahannock High School and around thirty of her students went on a field trip to Washington D. C. on Monday.

Miss Amarida Sims and Joseph Peregory, students at Rappahannock High School, are among those making the honor roll, this past grading period.

Congratulations to Jennifer Peregory who was chosen as head runner for the mile race
