Corrections Officer S20.823-S32.S10 + State Benefits Duties: Maintains security, custody and control over inmates at the institution and while in transport. Supervises inmate daily activities and records behavior to insure safe environment. After successful completion of a one (1) year probationary periodpromotion to Corrections Officer Senior and salary increase $22,763-$35,539. Training and uniforms provided. Requirements: HS or GED 21+ years old, valid driver’s license. Previous experience in military, public or private security helpful but not required.

Maintain appropriate documentation for certification stds. Train employees on inmate grievance procedure and serve as institutional liaison with inmate rights or advocacy groups. Req: HS/GED, higher education preferred but not required. Experience in investigations and complaint resolutions. MUST be able to communicate well both orally and in writing.
