Apple festival set
The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary will be holding their first fireman’s Apple Festival on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the carnival grounds. There will be fun for the entire family including a quilt contest, a pumpkin pie contest, crafts and lots of good food.
Picnic scheduled
On Saturday, Oct 2, the Woodville Community will be holding its sixth annual “Woodville Festival.” Follow the signs on Red Oak Mountain Road. The event starts at 2:30 and includes professional Blue Grass Music, horse shoes, volley ball and ‘The Picnic of the Century.” Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided. Folks are asked to bring a . covered dish or soft drink to share. All residents and friends of .Woodville are cordially invited to "attend.
