A vacant house on Grindstone Lane in the Boston area was broken into sometime before Sept. 26. Missing from the house are an oval picture frame, rectangular mirror, dinette table, some dishes and silverware. Furniture was also stacked near the door. The Sheriffs Office believes that the assailant gained access through a rear window. The incident is under investigation.
Accidents in county
Virginia State Police reported on two accidents in Rappahannock County last week. The first one occurred in Flint Hill on Route 647, just east of U.S. 522, shortly before 5 p.m. on Sept. 21. Richard Brown of Reston, Va. swerved
