• The Kiwanis Clulr of Cape May, N.J. has senCStetters of appreciation to SHBIna and Alissa Rye, Key jjhib members, for their helpjjjpth special events held this et&nmer. While spending the summer in Cape May with fifcir grandparents, Mr. and \|rs. William Savage, the girls
attended several meeting of the Kiwanis Club and volunteered at their Benefit Ai4Jt*on and Roast Beef Dinner.
• Sarah-Elizabeth Hunt spent four weeks this summer at her alma mater, McKinley Elementary School assisting Miss Allison Bliss in her first grade summer school class.Hn her capacity as student teacher, Sarah helped 12 Arlington County students with math, reading tests, and a bug project, among other first grade activities. Sarah plans £to study elementary education upon graduation from WCDS and hopes to one day te£ch second grade.
• Dana and Jesse Ferreira attended separate two week workshops with Performing and Visual Arts, Northwest (PAVAN) over the summer. “
Dana returned for hisJifth season with the theater workshop, culminating with a performance of “When Lovers Meet”, a collection of Shakespearian love scenes.
Jesse, in his first seasop of band workshop, attended masters classes in tenor saxophone. The band workshop ended with a concert at James Wood High School.
