Interment was in the family section of Nazareth Baptist Church Cemetery.
W.C. Thompson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.

Herman Byrd Jenkins Sr., 67, of Culpeper died Sept. 26 at Culpeper Health Care Center.
He was born Jan. 28, 1932, a son of the late Robert Ray Jenkins and Ollie Rebecca Jenkins.
Mr. Jenkins was known as “Bea” or “Brother” to most people.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Lucy Martin and Audrey Jenkins and a brother-in-law, Bobby Jenkins.
Survivors include one sister, Rebecca Whorton; one brother-in-law, Ed Martin; two aunts, Louise Alther and Virginia Woodard; two nephews, five nieces, six great-nephews and five great-nieces.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 29 at Found & Sons Chapel with Dr. Charles Shifflett officiating.
Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery.
