• Congratulations to the RCHS Band and our new Flag Team for the exemplary performance at Cooter’s in Sperryville on Saturday. It was wonderful to see so many faces from our School community there to support the band. There was even a former student of Mr. Jack Raines in the crowd. He had come all the way from Montevideo! Thanks again to Mr. Ben (“Cooter”) Jones for giving our kids this great opportunity to perform.
• The band will present another public performance on Oct. 23 at Country Manor in Sperryville. Stay tuned for more details and prepare to be impressed.
• Please remember to buy your holiday citrus fruit from our band this year. Their Citrus Fruit Sale will be their biggest fund raiser of the year and will provide much needed funds for uniforms and instruments. We will print more information as it becomes available.
