• The October issue of the
Virginia Journal of Education featured a story about the RCHS Transition Cla$s Cruise last spring. The article was titled “Class on the High Seas” and included pictures of the students, teachers and chaperones who made the trip. Mrs. Andra Logan is the Transition Teacher at RCHS.
• Many staff members are active volunteer participants in their communities and expend much energy in an effort to help others...aside from the countless hours spent educating our community's children. Each week we will endeavor to spotlight one or more individuals who do amazing things outside of school. Please take a moment to say thanks when you see them. • Kathy Zehr, RCPS School Psychologist, Layne Vickers, RCES fourth Grade Teacher, and Ron Vickers, RCHS Technology Teacher, work tirelessly with Habitat for Humanity in Page County helping to build homes fewdeserving families.
• RCES teacher, Geraldine Payne, is an Emergency Medical Technician and in her “spare” time spends many hours responding to calls with the Sperryville Rescue Squad and teaching CPR classes.
