TOWN OF WASHINGTON WATER
SERVICE ORDINANCE Kindly take notice that the Town of Washington Town Council will hold at its next regular meeting on October 13, 1999 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, Town of Washington, Virginia, a public hearing on the advisability of adopting the proposed Town of Washington Water Service Ordinance including any amendments thereto. A copy of a full text of the ordinance is on file at the Town Hall as well as the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County and is available for inspection during normal business hours. The general objects of the ordinance are to establish a water service ordinance for the town including, among other things, minimum monthly charges, usage charges, tap fees, procedures for awarding or obtaining taps or tap rights, connection fees, delinquency policies, sale of water to non-town residents and emergency rules, regulations and procedures.
