An old-fashioned Republican Rally and dinner will be held on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 3 p.m. at Washington Volunteer Fire Department. The Packing Shed Gallery located on Gay and Porter Streets in Washington will mark its grand opening with a special reception, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 2 and 3 from 2 to 6 p.m. The gallery features the paintings and pottery of Sperryville artist, June Jordan.
